ROAD SAFETY FORTNIGHT CELEBRATIONS

The first day of the road safety Fortnight was the day of drawing and painting with the colours of imagination portraying tips of road safety and traffic signs. Students of class l to V made vibrant and important traffic signs cutouts. Slogan writing competition was organised for Class Vl to Class Vlll. students participated enthusiastically and wrote wonderful slogans. Students from class IX & Xl painted their imagination of ideal roads and road users on the canvas.
To commemorate the Road Safety Fortnight, the school will conduct a special assembly for the entire fortnight mentioning Do’s and Don’ts for the Road Safety.

Dr. B. R. AMBEDKAR REMEMBRANCE DAY

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Remembrance Day
Our School organised an Inter-house Declamation Competition on 12 April, 2023, to hone the oratory skills among the students. It was organised to commemorate the memory of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar, Indian politician and social reformer.
The children were in high zest and zeal.
The participants spoke with full enthusiasm. Among the speakers in the competition Nishtha from Tilak House stood First, Palak from Patel House stood Second while Rohit from Azad House stood Third.
The Principal, Mrs. Hema Dhingra, appreciated the efforts of all the participants and encouraged other students too to come forward and participate in such events.

EARTH DAY CELEBRATION

EARTH DAY CELEBRATION
Every year, Earth Day happens on April 22. Earth Day is a wonderful opportunity to teach our kids more about protecting planet Earth. Therefore, our School marked World Earth Day with activities widespread to teach them about the 3Rs — recycling, reducing, and reusing. Our students threw a big celebration for Mother Earth with these fun Earth Day Activities like paper craft ,recycling collage, a seed Jar and many others pertaining to the theme.Our Environmental conservationists from the Middle school (from class Vl to Vlll) contributed by doing various activities
on 12th April by participating in the competition with great zeal in educational and action-oriented activities that were fun.

Holistic Development Through Yoga
The International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21 June 2022 with great eagerness and enthusiasm at school.
The celebration of International Yoga Day as declared by the United Nations was highly an exuberant event with the buoyant and enthusiastic participation of the large number of students. The school organised a plethora of activities for students of all ages ranging from asanas, pranayam to Suryanamaskar. The students stretched their arms, bent their legs, rolled their neck and twisted every sinew in their body with greater dexterity, in a spectacular synchronicity with English and Hindi instructions. Vrikshasana, Parvatasana, Padmasana, Vajrasana were the asanas, to name a few, performed on the occasion.
The Principal, Mrs. Hema Dhingra, in her inaugural address opined, “Yoga, an ancient Art and Science of health and harmony have vast potential for physical, mental, emotional,
social and spiritual health of every human being. The schools being convergent centres
can play a path breaking role in the growth and development of the nation. The day came to conclusion with the and the students and teachers carrying home the message that,

“Yoga is not for only one – it’s for everyone,
Yoga is not for a day- it’s for everyday.”
