INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS

The 76th Independence Day of India was celebrated with immense patriotic zeal and enthusiasm by the students and staff of RLSPS on 14 August 2023. The event was held in the school where the students showcased their patriotism and pride for the nation through a series of spectacular dance and music performances.
The celebration commenced with the flag-hoisting ceremony by the school principal, Mrs Hema Dhingra and vice principal, Mrs Lata Yadav, where the unfurling of the National Flag was followed by the National Anthem and the release of a myriad of tricolour balloons into the sky.
The Principal, Ms. Hema Dhingra, addressed the gathering by sharing the vision of our Prime Minister for the youth of our country. She encouraged the students to remain Indian at heart, and to follow the Indian values. She concluded by saying that she takes pride in her students and staff, and thanked them for their enthusiastic participation in the event.
The students, dressed in the vibrant colours of the different states performed folk dances. Primary students, through their patriotic performances, declared to be willing to sacrifice everything for their nation and rejoiced in the unity that continued to exist despite their diversity.
This was followed by the much-awaited finale performance, wherein the teachers and students sung the glory of the nation into a power-packed, impactful song along the tunes of “Hai Preet Jahan Ki Reet Sada”.

RAO LAL SINGH JI BIRTH ANNIVERSARY

Students Shine Bright as School Pays Tribute to Its Visionary Mentor
Rao Lal Singh Public School celebrated the birth anniversary of its revered mentor, Sh Rao Lal Singh ji, with great enthusiasm and fervour. The school campus was abuzz with excitement as students, teachers, and staff came together to mark this special occasion on September 2,2023.
The day commenced with an investiture ceremony that saw the induction of the new student council for the academic year 2023 -24. The newly appointed Head Boy, Head Girl, and their team members were bestowed with badges and sashes in a solemn ceremony attended by students and faculty members.
Rao Lal Singh ji, whose vision laid the foundation of the school, was remembered with heartfelt tributes by the school principal, Mrs Hema Dhingra, who highlighted Rao Lal Singh ji’s unwavering commitment to education and the values instilled in the school’s ethos. Principal ma’am remarked, “Today, we not only celebrate the birth of our mentor but also the legacy he left behind. His principles of integrity, hard work, and compassion continue to guide us.”
The investiture ceremony was followed by the much-awaited prize distribution ceremony, where students were recognized for their outstanding achievements in sports and extracurricular activities. The event showcased the remarkable talent and dedication of the students.
Notable awards included the ‘ National Kudo ,” and ‘ Interschool Kudo Trophy.’ Students who had excelled in Kudo and other co curricular endeavours were acknowledged and rewarded for their relentless efforts.
The highlight of the event was the Havan Ceremony performed by the entire school headed by Mr. R. S Yadav, General Secretary of the Rao Lal Singh Shiksha Parishad. It was also attended by the B.Ed principal,Mrs Vandana Sharma with other faculty members.This Havan ceremony on a school mentor’s birth anniversary was a heartfelt tribute that not only honoured his contributions but also fostered a sense of spirituality and community within the school. In a beautiful way the school expressed its gratitude and sought blessings for a brighter future under the mentor’s guidance
The RLS family expressed their gratitude to Sh Rao Lal Singh ji by making this investiture and prize distribution ceremony a memorable tribute to his enduring legacy.

INTER SCHOOL KUDO TOURNAMENT

Sports, its glory and agility, belong proudly to the realm of enchantment. Upholding its commitment to inculcate the value of sports in students, Rao Lal Singh Public School conducted first Inter School Kudo Tournament on 23rd July, 2023. Highly competitive teams from 22 schools and 200 above students participated in the Girls and Boys category. The sports enthusiasts of our school demonstrated their sporting skills in the Sub Junior and Junior Boys and Girls category and won a host of medals.

The event commenced with lighting of lamp by the distinguished guests Mahant Babulal Das ji, Major Ashok Yadav, president of Rao Lal Singh Shiksha Parishad, Mrs. Hema Dhingra, School Principal, Mrs Lata Yadav Vice principal and Rensei Hemant Sharma, Haryana Kudo President.

The students of our School showcased a brilliant performance in the KUDO Competition and clinched the OVERALL TROPHY in the First Inter-School Kudo Competition.

Modern Academy Sr Sec School obtained the second position. Third position was secured by MBLM School while Somany School,Rewari bagged the fourth position.

All the students performed with great zeal and made the school proud by winning prizes.The programme was appreciated by the guests.

MOTHER’s DAY

Our school organized a wonderful program to celebrate Mother’s Day. All our mothers were invited. Mothers were very curious to take part in this fabulous program and they saw many enlightening surprises.
Our Vice principal, Mrs. Lata Yadav, welcomed all mothers with warm words which took away every mother’s heart. After that, tiny tots performed beautiful dances,. Many fun games were organized for mothers. They enjoyed playing games like making a pyramid, tongue twisters, blowing glasses down, Ramp walk, and so on. Prizes were given to the event winners and all-rounders.
There was a small stage show given by students on the theme – “Mothers” – Many students of all sections presented quotes and poems on the theme. The show was so compelling that many mothers and students could see their tears rolling out. On seeing the performances in the show, the whole audience gave a roaring applause.
In the end of the program our principal ma’am, Mrs. Hema Dhingra shared her thoughts about Mother’s Day and every other loving mother on Earth. On this day, we feel so thankful to all women who made this world a beautiful place to celebrate our life without any obstruction – all the time.
